What would you do if someone you had never met, just chatted via email asked you to visit them?

Just to recap. Never met face to face, just emailed and phoned and seen photos of each other, for about 3 months. Would you, if they asked you and offered to pay your airfare, travel 6000 miles and 10 hr flight to visit them?
