Hazelnut sapling kept indoors.?

If it is inside it will probably sprout leaves.Try putting a grow light on it and fertilizing it.You cannot put it on the balcony because it will freeze the roots.Patients is all you can do,my hibiscus tree went through the same thing lost all leaves and has completely regrown them.I put it out side in the spring on the balcony
