What would be a cool neighborhood to move to in DFW?

I'm having to relocate to Arlington/DFW for work, and I'm looking for a place to live. I don't know the area too well, but I'm looking for a neighborhood that's laid back, pretty to look at, low crime, not too expensive and hopefully at least a little bit artsy. I'd really like a kind of Austin feel, or the Montrose neighborhood in Houston if anyone is familiar with that. Thanks internet...
